The Prestige

I just saw this movie that I borrowed from my friend Mia, it's called The Prestige. That is a very, dark movie. But Christian Bale and Michael Craine are in it and I love them. It's all about illusion and magic (none of the magic is real btw), and these two magicians used to be friend but then they got into a fight and now they're rivals. It's an amazing movie. My dad and I stayed up until 11:40 to finish it, cuz it's 2 hours long. You have to pay attention every minute cuz every little small detail is very important. I loved it though, dark movies intrigue me.

Two posts in two days

Two posts in two days! Who knew I could do it?
I went shopping today!! Normally I'm not really a big shopping kinda girl but I have my moments (and it's definitely more fun if you have money...). I went to Kohl's with Meghan and her mom. I had like 50 bucks to get clothes for Florida (CANNOT WAIT TIL THE WARMTH!!), and I only got 2 shorts. What a rip-off. And like all the shorts were really short...I started ranting to Meghan about the immodesty of today's youth. (Aha...yeah.) So I got bermuda shorts.
Ok gonna stop talking bout shorts now!
When we got home I also beat Meghan at Trivial Prusuit.
....Ok I won by one turn but hey.
Oh, and on American Idol!! Sanjaya is so annoying. I just want him gone...
Yes I watch American Idol. So do about 3/4 of the rest of America!!!

Odd post

Today I had a good day. Meghan had a bad day, but I'm sure you'll find out about that if you read her blog.
I basically just got to chill today. I read a lot, watched a movie and went up to Meghan's and ate m&m's.
OK so yeah I really don't have anything to say, but I felt like posting.
Umm ok here are some interesting facts about me. =D

I can't snap my fingers with my right hand, and I'm a righty.
I'm very unpredictable.
Chocolate is something that I would die if I did not have.
I love coffee. =) Starbucks rocks.
Blueberry muffins rock too.
So do chocolate covered raisins. Give me any of those things and I will love you forever.
Youth Group!!!!! Oh my gosh cannot stress enough how wonderful youth group is!!!!! =)
I have very weird taste in music. I love like...everything. Except the songs where the dudes like scream...um yeah that's just disturbing!!
I'm not a very messy person (some people would beg to differ, but psh), but I'm not very organized either...haha
Right now I am obsessed with Tetris. Well actually it's called Terollapse on addictinggames.com but it's really tetris.

Meghan's Post

This is Meghan's post because she said that she is very mad at me because she keeps checking my blog and I have no new posts. Which is true...because I'm lazy. =D

Yeah but anyway, I'm going to talk about Meghan because she made me write this post (which I'm not saying is a bad thing, but still, she made me.), so I'm going to embarrass her. Even though I just remembered she doesn't get embarrassed easily....dang.
Well maybe she's just acting!! Hahaha.

Ok so anyway Meghan is my neighbor up the street. And I love her much more then I love spaghetti. She makes me laugh a lot and she entertains me! Meghan is nutty and we have a nut party when we get together. umm yeah.

She also is a superhero geek. So am I. We have a pattern to that. I see the movie first, I yell at her about how great it is and then she makes a face at me and she says, "Gee thanks Soph, now I want to see it!!!" Then I see it again with her.
It's our bit. =D And it's very fun. lol.

Basically I love Meghan!!!! She is my wacky, mostly-red-headed neighbor who lives up the street(I know you are thinking "duh" right about now)-who is babysitting my pets when I go to FLORIDA (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! May 2-9)-and who I love to death!!!!!

Phobias

Mia sent me this website that has a list of phobias. They all have really long and weird names. It's so funny and here a some that made me start cracking up.

Angrophobia - Fear of anger or of becoming angry.
Arachibutyrophobia- Fear of peanut butter sticking to the roof of the mouth. (Meghan didn't believe me when I told her this one.)
Autodysomophobia- Fear of one that has a vile odor.
Bibliophobia- Fear of books. (Uhh that's horrible. No one should have that phobia)
Chrometophobia or Chrematophobia- Fear of money. (....how strange)
Consecotaleophobia- Fear of chopsticks.
Dementophobia- Fear of insanity.
Dutchphobia- Fear of the Dutch.
Genuphobia- Fear of knees. (HAHAHA. I mock anyone with this phobia. Heehee, I'm sorry.)
Logizomechanophobia- Fear of computers. (If you are looking at this post, you do not have this phobia.)
Macrophobia- Fear of long waits. (I think Meghan has this one...lol.)
Nomatophobia- Fear of names. (This makes me laugh!!)
Ombrophobia- Fear of rain or of being rained on. (I pity anyone with this phobia. I feel your pain.)
Russophobia- Fear of Russians. (I'm not surprised some people are afraid of Russians...I mean do we ever seen any?! NO!!)

Partayy (s)

So yeah even though I haven't been feeling my best this past week...and 3 days I still went to 2 partys.

The first one was Rachel's party. That was such a fun night. I gave her this dice (bluffing too) game that they play in Pirates Of The Caribbean 2. It was so much fun, we kept laughing when someone made a really wild guess. Yeah it's kinda complicated to explain, and I know even if I tried you still wouldn't get it. lol. Hey hey, Meghan had a hard time grasping it too. lol haha.
After we played American Idol! Well Rachel has an American Idol karaoke game thing that we played on her PlayStation2.

And today, it was Tori's birthday! It was just a couple of people...Erika, Tori and myself. And of course Ashlee, Naomi, Rueben and Mrs. Dutt. We played this really wacky story game which was totally weird but funny. And I made a really funky red choker that is pretty sick.

My cold is like all gone now, all I have is a little cough. I am going to youth group next week! I have missed everyone so much!!! =/

Behind the scenes

Uh Tori is going to hit me for this (and she will, I can promise you that. She's a soccer player, they show no mercy. ;), but I'd kinda rather just re-design my blog about a million times then post. I guess I'm a more of behind the scenes kinda girl. *shurg*

But I'm still blogging, cuz it is fun. And I don't get to see Ashlee and Tori as much as I would love too, so this is a way they can laugh at me from their house. =)

Deep Freeze

I really thought I could do it...
I thought I had some small chance of beating Tori. But nooo. She does it...like...well I don't know when but probably as soon as she got home. Wow Tori, you are amazing.
So I'm the second one to tell you about Deep Freeze, but that's ok. =)

It was totally awesome!!!!!!! Camp Berea is my favorite place in the whole world!!!! It's so inspiring and uplifting. The speaker was Dwight Knight (cool name, huh?) and the band was 7-Miles. They totally rock. Literally. =)

I really don't have much to say about it, because you kinda had to be there to experience it all. But I can tell you that I had a ton of fun, and it was sooo awesome!!!!! =)

WE GOT OUR CAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
She is a domestic short haired, black and white cat. We named her Winnie. I loove her soo much!!! She's really sweet, and loves to be petted. The person working at the shelter said we should leave her in a room for a couple of days, but she keeps wanting to get out and sniff everything. Maggie is pretty good with her so far. They both just like, sit there staring at each other, waiting to see what the other one does. It's kinda funny. =) Winnie is really small though, she's 2 years old, and they found her as a stray January 19th. She is soo cute!!!

Our computer is acting all weird, and it won't let us put pictures on our blog anymore!!!! We had to download this new control thing, so my mom thinks it's that. So I'm really really sorry but no pictures right now. I'll try to work on it!!!!!

My sister Molly and I don't have the greatest relationship.
I'm sure some of you already know that. lol.

We both find faults in each other that we both, actually have.

Of course neither one of us is willing to admit that....ever.

Today she had just annoyed me immensely, and I just decided to stop talking and try to forget about it. Then my eye started hurting and I went to the mirror to see if there was something in my eye.

Then it struck me.

I was just amazed what God can do to make you see a certain point, or a fault you need correcting on.

The Computer

I think we all spend waayyy to much time on the computer.

It's very addicting.

I also think you all should get off your comfortable chair and go run around your house 3 times.

Ice Skating (blah)

Today with my home school group we all went ice skating!!!!!!!!

Um yeah, I'm not really as happy as those exclamation points make you think. I'm not much of an ice skater. Oh don't get me wrong, I could probably be good if I wanted too (:P), but I don't.

When I was about 8, I broke my leg ice skating in my neighbors yard.
It was so cool! (Not the breaking of the leg part, the self made ice rink in their backyard) But very bumpy. So I was getting really good, (well as good as an 8 year old can get) and I was on my 3 twist around thing-don't know what they are called...OH! a spin-and my blade got caught on a bump on the ice, and my foot was trapped and my leg cracked.

The x-rays were really cool! There was just a big line down my bone. Ahaha sorry if this is gruesome. :P

After that I didn't go ice skating for like 5 years, and then Kelsey invited me to her birthday party at an ice rink. I went, terrified, but I still went. Got on the ice, fell on my knees, got back up, and skated (barely). Didn't like it at all. It was cold, and my knees hurt. And besides that, I think I lost something when I broke my leg. I'm guessing it was my self-confidence on the ice. Sad isn't it? :(

That was 2 years ago. And I haven't been ice skating since. But then our home school group was going, and I thought I could go, read a book, see my friends, and get out of school. But Tori, who can get me to do almost anything, convinced me to rent some skates. She said we could fall down together.

Well TORI, you are a MUCH better skater then I am so it was just basically me falling!!! :) haha I love Tori though. She rocks.

Oh yeah, back to ice skating. Well, I don't have much else to say except that I had fun being with my friends. But I don't think I'm going ice skating again.

I hate the cold, and if you didn't already know this.....ICE RINKS ARE COLD!!!!!

I roller blade now though. I loooove it. :) So I'm good.

MY LIFE

My life is good right now. Tomorrow I might not be saying that. But now it's great.

Today I went to Bethanys. As always, we had a ton of laughs and we took awesome pictures. Bethany is my biffle and I don't think I could live without her. =)

Funny things

It's funny how you can have your mind made up. You made a decision. You're going to stick with it. And then....something happens. You find out that it's not as easy as it looked. For some people this simple misunderstanding can be the biggest mistake they ever made. For others, it made them stronger, wiser, braver. But we don't know which one we'll be until that moment comes. The moment of choices. Left, or right. Which one are you planning on choosing?

Sometimes it seems like you know a person. And then they throw a curveball. Take you by complete surprise. You aren't even sure who they are anymore. They make you rethink everything.

Well I think that if you agree with what I'm saying, then we all need to trust God more then ever.

Ahh sorry if I seem to be going...uh wack. Well more wack then usually! =P

But certain things have been, lets say called to my attention. =)

Here's some good news though!!! I got this WONDERFUL letter in the mail from one of my BEST friends in the whole entire world. I'm not going to say who it is cuz, uh they may not want me too. But this girl is awesome, and I love her to death!!!! She is so nice and thoughtful and in her letter she told me how much she loved me, and what a special kind of friend I am. Well I don't agree with her on half of what she said about me, lol, but if she feels that way then, uh, good for her. ;)
